Revenge and Bribe, They Kind Of Go Together
So. Meljean has a steampunk coming out. It’s called THE IRON DUKE. It has London, dirigibles and monsters in it. And that’s all I know because she won’t let me read it.
So, in an effort to convince her to let me read the damn thing, I have made a fake cover. It must be said that since I know nothing about the book, I just went looking for some purty pictures. I found a couple I really liked and emailed Meljean, explaining to her that Iron Duke used his dirigible to fly to Egypt, where he found himself a gorgeous African woman and that’s it.
She said, “Okay.”
Yayz.
So I tinkered with it in between copyedit corrections. allow me to present the FAKE COVER for IRON DUKE.
I think she should let me read the thing, no? Look through all the trouble I went. sniff-sniff.
Also, y’all know how I have been unfairly picked upon by a certain Jill Myles. It’s time for revenge.
