I feel about running like you do. And whoever had that crazy idea it would be better to run indoors where you don't even have changing scenery to take your mind off the fact you're running? But as long as I can chase a ball, I'm just fine *G*. I like soccer, even though I can't play it at all and basketball in school (where the no-touch rules weren't so strict) was awesome! Now that I'm studying I finally started Tae Kwon Do (Korean martial art) after 2 years of doing nothing and I still like it now, 2 yrs later ;). I love that you're always trying to improve the kicks/punches you already know and keep learning new ones and seeing the improvement is one of the motivational things about it. The other one is the screaming ;). When you hit, you're supposed to scream - I never had a better stress release *G*

I am on a truce with exercise. I am not crazy about it, but I do need to do it. We have a Wii now as of December and I have the Wii Fit, Wii Fit Plus and the EA Active. It's all fun and I get a superb workout in the comfort and privacy of my home. We have a treadmill and recumbent bike that I shoot for getting up early to use. I love walking for miles, but I will not ever ever ever run, unless being chased by something scary or I have to protect my cub, Lady K.
Should I ever run, I'd have to tie down the big bewbs or I'll give myself a honkin' big black eye when one or both come bouncin' betty up and whack me one.

should I not admit I still have my leg warmers? two pairs: white ones and black ones. do I still wear them sometimes to slouch around the house? umm, maybe. I did finally teach myself to love running, but not in leg warmers.

Like water aerobics - well, any excuse to get in the water, really. Would love to take a cane fighting class, but can't find one locally. Mostly too busy running from job to job to class to home to job to exercise.
Have no leg warmers.
Hate running. Had a neighbor who was a runner - would see him crossing traffic a mile away and homeward bound, streaming sweat and grinning in ecstasy. I don't get it - but that didn't keep me from enjoying the scenery when he passed!

I had a pair of leg warmers as a kid - they were dark blue and AWESOME.

I really hate excercising (I do not like to sweat). But! I love to dance. I tried Jazzercize when I was young (around when I had the leg warmers) but I was not coordinated enough to go on with it, I plowed into about three other women the one time I tried. Tragic!

Now I do ballroom dance, and Core Rythms at home where there's no one to run into when I misstep, and drag myself to the hamster machines at the gym sometimes. I'm never really in shape (especially not right now) but I enjoy the gym enough that I've been reasonably fit in the past. Right now, I'm trying to convince myself to start taking Yoga classes again - it feels so good to be that stretched out.

Hate running. Got the Wii Fit to try to lose some weight and due to just recently being diagnosed with diabetes, all the more reason to lose the 60 pounds or so that are hanging on. the Wii has some fun things to do so it isn't so bad. There is even a running thing, which is a pain in the butt. I did the long route once and about died by the time it was over, chasing the puppy on screen.

I'm not athletic at all and def. could lose some weight.

but once a week I go to a kickbox-aerobic class and damn it's ... great! I feel exhausted, but kinda.... good afterwards... it's damn strenuous and though the instructor is a friend of mine, I have this little urges to strangle her because she doesn't even sweat properly, while I feel as if death was just around the corner :D

I hates running! whats the point when there is nothing chasing you? I prefer to go out to the club and dance with a bunch of friends. Only leg warmers I ever owned were leopard print and I was 7 in dance class. ^_^

What color legwarmers "did" I have? I still have them! Rose and peach. Ok - the kids play with them (but I still have them - don't ask about the leotard).

I hate, hate, hate running but I do like Pilates and the nice machines at the gym (where I can read my books while pedalling along).

Happy Friday!

I hate running but like lifting weights. However, I haven't done that in a while either. I've heard women say they hate working out at the local rec center because they are intimidated by the big burly muscle bound weight lifting guys. I don't understand that. Those guys don't bother me. I mean I'm not trying to compete with them (no way in hell I'm benching 200 lbs!). What I hate is the whole dance around trying to get on the machines! You can't wait too close because then you're crowding the person but if you're not close enough then someone else will poach your spot! Just trying to lift weights wore me out.

Never owned leg warmers. I was a deprived child.
